I'm looking for a manufacturer that can make a prototype for my product... any ideas?

I think the best option is to check out on trustworthy marketplaces like Alibaba where you will find great companies to make business with. Also, you can upgrade your account for a small fee and see which companies have more reputation and better reviews there. By the way, customer support is excellent!

I like this site. http://www.quirky.com/ called get quirky where you get social about your idea. Meaning you create the blueprint, someone else will do the manufacturing and so forth and it breaks up shares based on who does what. Really cool
