Tax season is here, and I had a question regarding startups and taxes. If you're startup is a very early stage company, pre-revenue, and has spent money on various expenses such as programming, development, hosting, 3rd party services, etc. What does your tax situation look like? What should you be filing, if anything?

Yes you should, as you business will be running at a loss, which is fine and any loss this year can then be off set in a following year when / if you make money. You migth also be able to cliam back any VAT spent.
