Hi all,

I'm a mISV, and I've just launched my first product - a grid/cloud/distributed application development framework written in .NET. (based on past experience with an open-source project I lead). At the moment, I'm offering it as a free beta version - http://www.utilify.com/

Firstly, I'd like to gauge the interest developers in this community have, in this sort of a framework/platform/product.

I also would like to get some feedback on the content of the website - since it is primarily targetted at developers (which is why I'm not describing the system here yet :).

Finally, I'd like to invite all interested devs, to try it out and let me know what you think.

If anyone is interested, I'd like the oppurtunity to partner / help / discuss / network.

Hopefully, there's some interest, and I'll be posting lots more about this in the future here - there's lots of ideas and questions I have bouncing around around product marketing / selling etc...

Thanks for your time.

Regards, Krishna.

Krishna, It is great you have developed your application but this is not a real question because it is mainly intended to promote your product. However, this is a good place for you to ask business-related questions and you will be able to get useful answers if you ask more specifically about marketing, selling, etc. You should put all your data in your profile, including details about your products and services if you want. Your answers will be also useful for the Startups.com community. Thanks – J.Venture Feb 3 at 12:40
Thanks J. I will ask specific questions. - Krishna. – Krishna Feb 4 at 12:50

Hi Krishna,

I´ve been through your site and I think your content is quite complete. However, I would add an institutional video at the home page, explaining on detail how the system works. Just a short video (no more than 3 min).

I would encourage you to ask more specific questions about marketing your product and sales. I think that way you can get better advices on this community.

Good luck!

Thanks Joe! The video is a good idea. And I will actually ask specific marketing questions too. Thanks for the advice again. – Krishna Feb 4 at 12:49
