Does it start the same for all business? How do calculate a Fiscal Year?

Is a 12 month period in which a business budget its applying. The fiscal year begins when the 12 month period ends. If your fiscal year starts March 12th, 2008, it will end February 11th, 2009.

To know when a fiscal year ends and begins you don't have to use the calendar which can give you a lot of advantages, just because you can close the books when you consider is the most convenient time for your company.
