I own about 100 domain names that I eventually want to build a site on.

Is there a compelling reason to trademark my domain names?

I don't have the money to pay 100 x $395 or whatever to trade mark each domain name.

Why should I trademark my domains?

What are risks if I DO NOT trademark my domain names?

I don't think there's a reason to trademark your domain names.

It's best to check that your domains don't contain trademarked terms and you should be fine.

You trademark your domain names to keep others from registering similar domain names so that mostly importantly they don't infringe on your trademark as well as to keep the competition from steering buyers away from your website. Think about it in terms of Big name corporations and/or other major retailers (i.e. Apple, Ralph Lauren, Porche, etc) their domain name is part of their business assets. Therefore their domain name is part of their trademark. You don't want others to infringe on your trademark!
