Writing as a hobby it’s great but if it can be enjoyable and at the same time bring in extra money, it would be just great! People have suggested blogs as a starter, but I’d like to know how to make this happen.

You should take a look at elance.com. This is a great website where people post jobs for anything from packaging and website copy to mechanical engineering. As a writer, you can sift through jobs you feel qualified for and bid on them. Good luck! |

Perhaps you could develop a number of informational products that target a particular niche industry (or hobbyist), margins can be very high if you target a relatively untapped niche. If you have a technical background, try sending a flyer to the small to medium software companies in your area as they will always be looking for technical writers to work on a freelance basis. All the best. Floyd |

Blogs are an excellent way to begin, create your platform and start uploading your work! You can create memberships so people who want to access to a section of your blog have to sign in and pay. It’s very easy and pay pal will do all the work for you. Also creating a newsletter that you send via e-mail with a particular writing and you submit it, let’s say monthly, and people have to pay to get it. Another way is to sell ad space and get some ROI from that. |
