Making a business card shouldn't be too difficult. But, although, there are some things you have to keep in mind: A business card is the best way to promote your business, and, of course, of getting new customers. So, you should try and get your card to convey reliability, service and quality (regardless of the type of business you own or manage). |

There are several online print shops such as iPrint and VistaPrint which make it extremely easy to create and print your business cards. Or, if you would prefer to work with a local company, pretty much any printing company can do this for you. And if you're trying to keep costs to a minimum, you can buy some blank business cards at Wal-Mart and print your own. I've had very good luck with VistaPrint. Good quality at reasonable prices. |

My advice: don't try to use your business card to advertise. Just logo and straight contact info - and maybe, maybe, a descriptive tagline with a few words about what you do. But I've seen too many small businesses try to communicate their purpose on a business card - not good. Assume the person getting your card already knows and is interested - and if you want to do more than that, use rack cards, flyers, brochures and other print materials. |

hi, To make business card you need following: 1.Think about what key info you want on your biz card. 2.You should have at least Company name, website, and telephone. 3.If you offer more than one service than its good thing to state that also, but keep it simple as possible. 4.Your biz card MUST be READABLE.Your contact info must be visible at first glance, also it must be in fast and easy way to contact you. 5.It should be simple with simple graphical elements and smart composition in design, which will make viewer to see it in order of your choice. 6.Style of your business card must have personality of your niche. If you let we say sell elegant clothing than your card can't be grungy looking.. you get the point. 7.Color of your biz card should reflect your main logo ones.Or if not than it should reflect the color warmness of the logo,if colors are cold than it should have cold color too. 8.If you choose to have it in two sides, you can have info and logo on front with just logo and slogan on the back side,or contact info and logo on front more detailed info telling which services you offer on the back. 9.To make business cards professionaly you can buy fantastic Adobe Photoshop product or Indesign. 10.You can print them everywhere because business card of standard material type are very cheap to print. It's your call. Those are some of the steps of biz card process, hope it helps if you have more questions don't hesitate to ask at nemanja@theimpulsedesign.com Thanks! |

This is my opinion, but I really think business cards are near worthless. If I am wanting to establish a contact/relationship with somebody I will be getting their information from them, not the other way around. What I mean is, I will not give my info out in hopes of people calling me, I will be getting their info and calling them (proactive -vs- reactive). If I'm needing something to promote my business or generate new customers, I would be looking for something else. Such as pens, thumbdrives, stress balls ... etc. If I ever do print out business cards, they will be as simple as possible. I prefer to work on my business instead of things like this. A simple business card would be something like - http://www.coated.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/google-me-business-cards.jpg |
