My blog has a new application and I prepared a video that shows the latest features and explains how simple it’s for users to try it. I’m going to upload it to You Tube, so everybody can watch it and I get some free advertising from it. What I need to know is how to get my video totally ready before uploading it, so that I can get the best out of it.

Check that your video is in MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format, ‘cause it’s the one You Tube favors. Use MP3 for the audio and 640x480 for the resolution. This will help your video look better. Also remember to label it properly, so you make it easy for people to find. |

You should use some editing software first, so you make sure your video looks the way you want it to look. imovie in apple or Windows movie maker will suit you good. When you’re done with it you gotta upload it in one of the formats You Tube is cool with: QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI o .MPG. |

Be sure to caption the video so everyone can access your information. It's cheap and easy (in a good way). |
