Instead of charging for the service provided I’d like to find a lawyer that charges according to the customer’s income. Is there a way to find a professional that accepts this? If not, is there any other alternative you can suggest?

Well, attorneys have different rates and some do the service for free, it just depends on the lawyer’s interests. Anyway, you should check this site; it is a Public association that offers free legal counsel. It might be good as a start.

Actually you would have to shop around. The rates attorney's charge dictate which kind of clients they get. Thus low income clients can only afford the cheap lawyers, while the better lawyers, who charge more, only get hired by the people with more money.
