I really don’t know if the difference between the success of a business or its failure is the entrepreneur or the market. What would you say makes a business fall into one or the other side?

If the market was the determining factor, then all businesses within the industry would enjoy the same successes and suffer the same failures. The thing that differentiates the different players in a given industry is the leadership of the companies involved. Therefore, I would argue that the entrepreneur is the one that determines the success or failure of the business.

I guess the entrepreneur makes the difference in any of the cases. Of course there are some external factors like the market, the economy, etc. But the real entrepreneur knows how to deal with these variables, because they see opportunities in every crisis and can create success out of everything.
