Growing up I was told an entrepreneur had to be a risk taker. I that always true?

Overall the short answer is yes. When I was a kid they told me that the fruit that falls to the ground by itself is usually half rotted and if you really want something good you'll have to climb for it,...just don't fall out. If you can be an entrepreneur without risk then you are just a rich hobbyist that does business for fun and that great and all but it's not reality. The short answer is yes, and the long one is yes, yes, yes :-> If it's not risky, everyone would be doing it. Entrepreneur has to risk, but it should be an assessed risk, otherwise it's called gambling. |
