I was wondering how does Google make money, due to the fact that they offer the majority of their services free of charge. Which is their strategy?

Google is the king of internet marketing. They have proven that if you can generate a huge amount of traffic, you can make billions. Google has the most popular sites on the internet, and they place tiny ads on them. They continue to give stuff away free, because the get the money back from advertisers. And lots of it.
