Is there a way to use YouTube to show videos on my website, but not let the users view other related videos that YouTube has on that topic? I really only want my videos on my website and I do not want to be the cause of my customers leaving my site to watch other videos.

Hey Nellie YouTube don't offer anything like that I'm afraid. Everything you post on YouTube is public. Vimeo have a feature they call Domain Level privacy. That goes a long way of solving your problem. vimeo.com/plus I would either recommend Vimeo or you can check out a CDN network like Amazon S3 where you pay for the traffic you use. There are alot of clients free for download that allow you to upload data to Amazon S3 as long as you have an account. And you JW player (longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/) to embed the videos you upload to your site, but then you have to do all the h264 encoding and such, something that you don't have to deal with when using sites like Vimeo. Probably cheaper to go this way rather than talking to some custom developer. Hope it helps :) Snorri |

You may be able to search around for an open source video shower. Also, you may be able to contact YouTube and ask them about it, I'm sure something such as what you're asking exists. |

Vimeo is defiantly the way to go, scripts are easier to create, auto playing ect. |

Why not just host the files yourself? Anything else (without the hosts permission) would just be stealing bandwidth. |
