Rick Leander spent 30 years at the cutting edge of Business and Technology Transformation in London, Tokyo, and New York. As Managing Director of Strategic Technology at Bank of America he worked to move client delivery into the on-line world; created and ran the $250 Million Strategic Investing Fund. As Chief Strategy Officer for The Clearing House he led a diverse team of executives in the creation of a 10-year vision for the evolution of the US payments system. He was the CEO of a Fintech before Fintech was thing. He now leads LFB Holdings; using behavioral design to help companies improve their connections with the clients, customers, patients, and employees. He is co-lead of the North Carolina Chapter of Transformative Technologies, a global organization focused on creating scalable technologies that increase human wellbeing and flourishing. He is heavily involved with the entrepreneurial eco-system in North Carolina and speaks, coaches, and writes on a variety of topics including company culture, behavioral economics, payments, and future trends in society, work, and life. He sits on the boards of a number of for profit and non-profit firms and is an advisor to a wide portfolio of startups. He has a degree in finance from The University of Texas in Austin.
