Parasol Video
I am originally from Liverpool, England, and I moved to Columbus, OH, in 2013. My wife is my biggest champion to go out and be creative and disruptive, while my son is my reason to keep myself grounded. I enjoy cooking, adore movies, and have fun gaming.
I've worked in video and game production for 19 years, starting at Sony Computer Entertainment and moving through various roles in video production.
I founded Parasol Video in 2015, working on B2B commercial content in the US before pivoting to virtual production in 2020 due to the pandemic.
In 2020 I co-founded event.video, a company specializing in virtual events production and live streaming. We scaled this business to 30 team members, over $1M (2020) and $1.5M (2021) in revenue, and serviced some of the biggest global events companies.
In 2022 I founded a new company, eGame Studio. This SaaS company gives esports hosts, players, and commentators a simple way to produce high-energy content from their browsers and removes the need to use complex software and hardware to stream their games.
