Consumer Electronics

I'm looking to venture into UAV/Drone industry. How should I go about Outsourcing the setup?

There are a lot of Drone related projects on Kickstarter now and I've a lucrative idea for a new type of non commercial drone/UAV . I've launched several digital products and services online and can manage the marketing aspect but this would be the first time for me delving into the hardware market. I've an Engineering degree in Electronics but that's not much of a help. I'm pretty sure If I can detail out the specs, the hardware manufacture/setup can be outsourced to the numerous suppliers out there. But before starting a kickstarter campaign for it, I'd like to know the ins and outs of this. Google seems not to be of much help here either. Would love to get your advice on how should I move forward..

One of the best ways is to contact those on your industry and just ask them.
Contact Adam Bry from Skydio. There are working on the technology of the drones (software) so they will probably know a lot of hardware suppliers/companies and it won't be competing with them.
You can even become a client of them in the future!

PS: Also you should check Shenzhen in china where most drones hardware is manufactured.
