Starting a trucking business can be exciting, and pricing your services right is crucial to building a successful operation. When it comes to pricing, you're right that every quote can be custom. Factors such as distance, load type, fuel costs, and the time required for delivery all play a role in determining the price.

I suggest looking into your local market rates for similar services, understanding your operating costs, and then deciding on a pricing model. You might want to consider offering flat-rate pricing for local deliveries and per-mile pricing for long hauls. Additionally, taking into account seasonal fluctuations in demand can help adjust pricing at different times of the year.
