Sales

Sell my art creations

Fortunately I work remotely that I have more time to pursue art career. I do watercolor painting, ceramics, perfume making, rice jewelry, digital art. I have both directions, home crafts and fine arts. Question I am new to Etsy, how to make successful sale? How to sell to Amazon? How to sell to auction? How to reach to gallery? How to do online sale? How to get funding to support my art business? What other platform do you recommend? Thanks.

A unique way of seeing life, love and passion

Hi,
Another option you have is start looking at creating a simple website, average expense should cost minimum $90 per month with the option to buy online.
As for a free starter, i would recommend Marketplace or Amazon best. You would be having a clear idea of the market offers and you would also be able to have your arts on a competitive rate.
There is the option of also using Alibaba or Wish but this might end up you paying part of the shipment, so not really recommendable for now.

Hope this helps a little.

Life Coach - Civil Engineer- Multiple Business

Working remotely and having more time for your self to work on what you enjoy to do is the first step to a successful life. That's how i started my journey with amazon and my own business, and now all I do is work on what I enjoy doing.

There are many ways to sell you art or services:

1.) Sell your artwork online: You can create an online store on platforms such as Etsy, Shopify, or Amazon Handmade to sell your artwork. You can also sell your digital art on sites like Society6 or Redbubble. ( selling on a multiple online store will provide the best outcome)

2.) Commission work: You can offer commission work to clients who want custom pieces of art. You can advertise your commission services on social media or your website

3.) Teach art: You can offer art classes or workshops online or in person. This could be a great way to share your knowledge and skills with others and make some money in the process..

4.) Sell your artwork on social media: You can use social media platforms such as Instagram or Facebook to showcase your artwork and sell directly to your followers.

There are multiple ways you can approach your business idea but this depends on where you live and what you like to do.

marketing and advert design

A really good way of marketing would be through platforms such as instagram, you can do some fairly effective marketing for as little as £25, because they allow you to refine who sees the advert so well. A great platform for building a website would be wix, i believe it is free and a lot of people use this to build pretty good websites.

With securing funding, hopefully the business will not cost much to set up due to a lot of these platforms you mentions being fairly cheap to use. A small loan from a family member could be the route to take if it’s just a small loan.

Take a look at artstorefronts.com. They provide over 10K artists with websites and tools to properly display and sell original art as well as prints, which is a great way to get expose and new purchases from existing customers. They provide a monthly marketing plan for you to follow which is basically a "playbook". They advise on social media, which is essential for your marketing, but you have to do that yourself. I found the organization for my son. He is attempting be do art full-time. I'll do all his marketing and technology things in the beginning, and gradually shift all of it over to him in time. It's a pretty steep set-up cost, which they will finance over several months, but the monthly hosting fee is $50. They earn 10 to15% of your sales, which incentivizes them to help you be success.
