A 404 error indicates that the requested page could not be found on the server. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and fix this issue:
1. **Check the URL**: Ensure that the URL you are trying to access is correct.
2. **Review Your Permalinks**: If you're using a content management system (CMS) like WordPress, go to your permalink settings and save them again. This often resolves 404 issues caused by permalink structure changes.
3. **Check for Missing Pages**: Ensure that the page you are trying to access exists on the server. If it has been deleted or moved, you will need to restore or redirect it.
4. **Check Your .htaccess File**: If you're using Apache, your .htaccess file might have incorrect rules that are causing the 404 error. Look for any redirect rules that might be affecting the page.
5. **Check File and Directory Names**: Ensure that the file and directory names are correctly spelled and match the case sensitivity.
6. **Clear Cache**: Sometimes, the 404 error might be due to cached versions of the website. Clear your browser cache and, if you have any caching plugins, clear the website cache.
7. **Inspect Server Logs**: Check your server logs to see if there are any errors or issues that might be causing the 404 error. This can often give you more insight into what's going wrong.
8. **Plugin/Theme Conflict**: If you're using a CMS like WordPress, a plugin or theme might be causing the issue. Try deactivating your plugins or switching to a default theme to see if the problem persists.
9. **Check for Broken Links**: Use a tool like Google Search Console or an online broken link checker to identify and fix broken links on your website.
10. **Contact Your Hosting Provider**: If none of the above steps work, there might be an issue with your hosting server. Contact your hosting provider for further assistance.
If you can provide more details about your website setup (e.g., CMS, hosting provider), I can offer more specific guidance.

Actually, 404 error is becuase of the visited page or URL is not available but you can fix it easily by redirect the URL with 301 (Permanently Moved) rule to other available page which not affect your site SEO and performance.
