TAZMON L SIMS

The problem will continue, until we actually deal with what the problem is. It is not people feeling "unsafe to speak", it is people feeling unsafe to speak, because they are unsure of were "their true words lie and what they will expose".

The problem is when what happened with George Floyd, happened your initial thought was what "you" were going to say. It was never about you, but you made it about you anyway and that is why there is a hard time having a conversation.

When everything has to be spoken through "your filter", so that you understand and come to grips with everything, it kills the very flow of "safe space" conversation, that you are looking for, because it is all about "your" personal safe space and what "you" feel comfortable with.

When this happened it was not your time to give a speech or give answers, it was supposed to be the time, that you listened.

You don't have the answers, because you never stopped to ask the questions and now because of how you have phrased this into you somehow being the victim because you wanted to "do good" and no one is playing.

The approach you are taking is for you and that has been how we have done it this entire time with zero positive gain.

Not trying to be mean, I hope this helps
