Its as lonely as your mind makes it. As a seasoned start up vet from over 20 years ago, I now realize that the information access ie social media has not only been a blessing but a curse. Scrolling through social media and the linkdin's of the world, it seems that everyone is a successful entrepreneur and has all the answers. No offense to positive reinforcement but there is a 'reality behind the reality' yes don't believe everything you see or read.
With all this said, the lonely feeling, which I still battle to this day, is exactly that lonely! Why? Because it's YOU who is the driving force, the creator hence the leader. There is only one President not 6, there is only one king not 10 ... you get the idea. You are your own king or queen.
Embrace the lonely feeling, socialize within your creation and keep moving forward NOT easy! There is a reason why 90% of the wealth in the USA is held or controlled by 10% of the population, yes politics, corruption, unfairness all apart of it BUT not at a 90% level .... bottom line its HARD!! So don't be so hard on yourself and have a plan B - working for someone else i.e. fortune 500 company or small start up is not a bad thing, going after it and being lonely whether it works or not is not the only focus, its knowing that you put the effort in and tried :). "There is a price to pay for success".
