I've often thought about this question. As for me, I believe a founder should NOT show his/her flaws. I believe that FIRST, the leader should SHOW WHAT HE /SHE CAN DO, IMPRESS his/her colleagues.. THEN, after the start up storm is over, then, the leader can, if he/she wishes, can casually mention some (don't dump them all at once) flaws.. By this time, the colleagues will already have a favorable impression of their leader, and will look at the leader's flaws in a different view, willing to understand instead of being quick to judge.
