Our actual pitch to investors is all about creating a conversation that gets them asking lots of questions, while moving the process forward to the next critical step.

We might think it’s all about “closing the deal”, but it’s really about listening to what concerns investors most and isolating the conversation to that specific point.

We’ll help you understand that the pitch is about:

  • Expectations. The pitch deck is a general agenda, to start a conversation, that’s it.
  • Creating a Conversation. Questions are good! We want as many as possible.
  • Moving to the next Step. We want to gracefully move toward a close over time.

Investors are typically going to want to dive into just a few specific slides within our pitch deck that represent their objections or interests. We’re going to align the entire meeting (and our time) toward answering their questions, not just motoring through our pitch deck.
