Michael Martin is the Founder and CEO of M3 B2B Strategy, St. Louis, a network of consultants experienced in experiential meeting design, strategic planning, advisory board development, and media to help organizations achieve growth by creating continuous momentum.
From 2011-2025, Martin served as the CEO of the National Wood Flooring Association, tripling net assets, doubling membership, and increased trade show attendance by 60%.
Prior to NWFA, Martin spent 14 years with the National Association of Electrical Distributors, progressing through a series of promotions from meeting planner to trade show manager, to editor, publisher, and finally VP of this $23M trade association serving a $287B international market.
Martin is the recipient of multiple B2B media and trade show awards including being listed for seven sequential years as a ‘Top 50’ growing trade show by Trade Show Executive magazine and 20+ awards for editorial excellence from the American Society of Business Publication Editors, Trade Association Business Publications International, University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism (MAP Awards), and was selected by CEO Update as a Top Association CEO for the turnaround necessary after the housing bubble burst.
