There is no "one-stop shop" that will do all of these things well, there are a collection of tools, however, that will do this very easily.

Pick the profession where you get this problem most. White collar jobs..Software engineers, technologist, etc etc...

If you already have a customer base (i am sure you have) , you can identify the persona (similar customer) to target.

All your strategies should be geo-targetted on those persona..

You can go two ways 1) SEM (like PPC) or 2) Organic Content 3) Highly targeted display ads (captive) 4) Information distribution (seminar or webinar).

Based on you budget, time, geography you have to pick one channel, test your campaign and double down if it works...

What you're looking for, primarily, is local SEO. There are plenty of web marketing companies that offer local SEO services, including my own: Pole Position Marketing. Local SEO will help make sure you have all the right local signals in place, but you also need a strategy beyond that, which should include organic SEO, social media and a content strategy.

Facebook has a feature for local search, it's AMAZING.

You need to ensure your facebook page is configured as a local business. Make sure to enter your address.

Once you have the address plugged in, you can create a local campaign to drive traffic to your website.

With a simple ad, I pay roughly 15 cents per click from my facebook ads that are directly related to my business.

It couldn't be easier.

From all the options out there, start here -- it has the biggest impact and simultaneously the lowest price right now.

Hi, my name is Kyle,

I've ranked a site in 2 months on page 1 in Google in a VERY competitive niche locally.

There are many agencies or companies that you can hire for online marketing. Some are better than others, and some are terrible and may hurt your site.

Some larger companies hire in house online marketers to provide on-going marketing.

It's always best to consult with a few professionals or 'SEO's' before making a decision on who you go with or how you go about your marketing.
